Add Cal-Stop™ to the water at the rate of 1 x 5 Litre bottle per 60,000 litres of water. Apply the product by diluting it into 10 litres of water and then broadcast across the pool surface when the pool is one quarter full.

Test the pool water, and balance to the recommended levels, as listed as soon as the pool is filled:

  1. pH 7.2 – 7.6 (Ideal 7.4)
  2. Total Alkalinity (TA) 100 – 200ppm (Ideal120)
  3. Calcium Hardness (CH) 200 – 300ppm *(Ideal 250)*

*Calcium levels will increase as the product cures

DO NOT add calcium for at least four weeks and then ONLY if required.

NB: Salt should not be added to the pool for the first four weeks. With salt chlorination systems, sanitise using liquid chlorine for the first four weeks, THEN add salt.
